Coquette: noun. A woman who makes teasing sexual or romantic overtures; a flirt.
Coquette began in Second Life back in 2006. It is owned and operated solely by me, Shannon Carroll. It began as merely a way for me to earn some L$ here and there to support my shopping habits. It has grown into something much, much more. Something that I not only thoroughly enjoy and love, but something that is helping me to reach my goal of eventually moving to be with my partner, who currently resides half a world away from me.
So what can you find at Coquette? Clothing, of course. Skins. Shoes. Accessories. Furniture. I’m not out there trying to do it all, just out there trying to do what I love. It just so happens that I love a lot of things.

Shannon Carroll was first rezzed in Second Life on January 10, 2006. Shannon, however, was not the first account ever created by the human being behind the controls. ;)
I, the person behind the avatar Shannon Carroll, have a long history in SL. I created an account in beta, but my PC crashed every time my avatar took a step. I came back about a year later, armed with a better PC. ;) I’ve been addicted to SL ever since. I even fell in love with someone I met in SL… though we are no longer “just SL.” I’ve made lots of friends in SL, too. Friends that I could not imagine my life – in world or out – without.
